Bartending & Mixology
While attending the class of Mixology I you will participate in structured lecture and lab time with your instructor whether you take our Day, Night or Weekend program!
After learning the basics of operating behind a bar, students have hands on training on the crafting of drinks and also preparing real garnishes (Unlike other schools in the area that use fake garnishes). while learning to be accountable and in compliance with local and federal alcohol regulations.
During Mixology I you will receive the TIPS certification required by state law to serve alcohol. Your TIPS certification is included in the price of your class and will need to be renewed in 3 years after completion of the course. The certification consists of a lecture and test.
Note: TIPS lectures and testing are a combination of the most current laws and regulations. If you are unable to attend Friday from 10am - 4pm, please inform your instructor so alternate lesson plans can be made.
